Over the course of my time as a coach I have come to understand the dynamic relationship necessary to achieve success with clients. Coaches work random hours that can range from 4 am to 10 pm and they see a side of you that you may not realize. 

During my time as a bootcamp instructor, I was fortunate enough to get to know my clients on a personal level. I communicated exercise as a means to cope with personal problems and focus on yourself. You could picture this as a sort of meditation that brought all of your problems to a standstill while you worked your butt off to finish my workout. That, or you could use exercise to let all of your stress and frustration out. 

Today, the fitness world is full of trainers and gym owners that are trying to make a living but some of them fail to see the big picture. As a coach, being able to encompass mentality, physicality, nutrition, and diet into the same equation can be difficult. Most times, our scope of practice limits us and it can be hard to help our clients on every level they need us to. 

That is why my education is all-encompassing. My first degree is in Nutrition and Dietetics and I have worked to understand food's role in health and exercise as well as weight loss/management. My second degree is in Exercise Science so that I am able to coach with the understanding of the physiology of each exercise and movement patterns associated with physical change and improvement. Lastly, I have obtained a minor in Psychology so that I have full comprehension of theories related to motivation and thought processing.

My vision is to continue to build myself into a coach that can help you on all levels. Your coach should feel like family and someone you can communicate all of your needs to. They should be someone you can lean on and ask for help from.

Whether that be motivating questions to spark your desire to be better or small reminders to get your workouts in each week, I work to ensure your success with my programming.
